Difference Makers
The Difference Makers (DM) group supports parents and caretakers of students with learning differences. DM seeks to build a partnership aimed at best serving all stakeholders in neuro-diversity education at Lab.
DM has hosted several parent support events including informal off-campus Meet & Greets, an on-campus screening of the film, "The Big Picture: Rethinking Dyslexia" followed by Q&A discussion, a family potluck, and a restaurant week event. We also help link families requesting mentorship.
