From the PA President: Welcome to the 2026-2027 School Year
Welcome back to Lab!
On behalf of the Parents’ Association and the entire Laboratory Schools community, we are thrilled to welcome you and your family back to Lab for the 2026-2027 school year.
As a member of Lab’s community of parents and guardians, you are automatically part of the Parents’ Association (PA). Together with teachers and administrators, we are here to support you and hope to meet you very soon at one of the PA’s upcoming engagement opportunities:
Parents’ Association Programming
The PA coordinates various programs and events to support parent engagement. Programming includes a room parent program for the younger years, parent-led affinity groups, Parent-to-Parent informational sessions, as well as signature events throughout the year that include Book Swap, the Holiday Fair, and Rites of May. Through this programming, the PA seeks to build community and provide opportunities for parents to support one another.
New-to-Lab Families:
The PA is excited to welcome your family and to answer questions you might have as you join our community. Prior to the new academic year, your family will be invited to in-person and virtual gatherings, and we hope that you will be able to attend. You can also request a mentor family through the Parents’ Association. We will make every effort to match you with a parent mentor who can answer questions and support your next steps.
Get Involved:
As we look ahead to the next school year, we encourage you to engage, attend, and get involved. We hope you’ll take part in what makes Lab such a special place. Sign up to volunteer at Lab-wide events and student celebrations.
