From your 2026-2027 High School Council: Welcome to the School Year!

Dear U-High Parents,

On behalf of the High School Council of the Lab Parents’ Association (PA), welcome to the new school year! We hope everyone had a safe and relaxing summer. As your representatives of the U-High parent body at Lab, we work closely with the High School administration to help families feel connected within the High School community. 

Our role includes:

  • Representing the parent community to High School administrative leaders,

  • Supporting innovative faculty ideas through our PA Grant program, 

  • Planning graduation celebrations and other student activities and, 

  • Providing forums for parents to discuss U-High programming and other topics of interest.

Once school is in session, you will receive invitations to attend our ongoing High School Parent to Parent (P2P) meetings which will cover important topics at specific points in the school year. 

Details about important High School activities and PA-sponsored events for the 2026-2027 school year will be announced through the PA's webpage and eNews (Lab Schools’ monthly e-newsletter which includes key information about meetings, events, etc.). We encourage you to check these resources regularly. You might also like to subscribe to the All Schools and High School calendars found on the Parent Portal of the Lab Schools' webpage.  

As a parent at Lab, you are already a member of our Parents’ Association. We invite you to participate in our general meetings and to get as involved as your time and interest allow. We will also host ongoing occasions for parents to connect and volunteer within the High School community. 

It is a privilege to serve you and we are committed to making school life as engaging and enjoyable as possible for our parent community. We are available to answer questions, listen to concerns and comments, or assist you at any time during the school year. We look forward to meeting everyone in the coming weeks!
