From your 2026-2027 Middle School Council: Welcome to the School Year!
Dear Middle School Families,
We hope you're enjoying a wonderful summer!
On behalf of the Parents' Association (PA), we would like to extend a warm welcome to both our returning and new Middle School families. We are excited to represent you on the Middle School Council of the Parents' Association and look forward to partnering with you throughout the coming school year.
Working closely with the Middle School Principal, Assistant Principal, Dean of Students, and the Parents' Association, our goal is to support our students, families, and faculty by:
Helping parents build meaningful connections with one another and the broader Lab community.
Representing the voices and perspectives of Middle School families in conversations with the administrative team.
Supporting our faculty by coordinating parent volunteers and administering the PA Teacher Grant Program, which funds innovative classroom and curriculum initiatives.
Building community among our students by supporting student-led events such as Giant Gym Nights, student dances, and graduation celebrations.
Throughout the year, we will offer a variety of opportunities to connect with fellow parents, school leaders, and guest speakers through our Parent-to-Parent (P2P) information sessions, community gatherings, and other special events. We encourage you to read the monthly eNews, MS Principal newsletters and visit the PA website for the latest updates. You may also find it helpful to subscribe to the All-School and Middle School calendars, available through the Parent Portal under the Calendars & Schedules tab.
Below you'll find several upcoming events as we prepare for another exciting school year.
There are many ways to become involved through the Parents' Association, and we would love to have you join us! If you're interested in volunteering, please complete our volunteer interest form. We'll use your responses to connect you with projects and opportunities that match your interests.
